TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. INTRODUCTION
    • This competition is organised by BrokerBüddy (Pty) Ltd and its associated group of companies.
    • Information on how to enter and the prize form part of the Conditions of Entry. Entry into this competition deems acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Conditions of Entry and any other reference to this competition, these Conditions of Entry prevail.
  1. WHO MAY ENTER?
    • To participate in this competition, you must:
      • Have an active DroneBuddy policy; and
      • Be over the age of 18 years.
  1. MECHANICS
    • Eligible entrants will be automatically entered upon uploading original photo that your covered drone took from the skies above. Photos will be checked on plagiarism and must be original shots.
    • The drone from which the picture was taken should be on an active DroneBuddy policy.
    • Confirmation will be sent that you have successfully entered the competition once you have completed clause 3.1.
    • Enter as many times as you like with different shots.
  1. THE PRIZE
    • The prize for the ‘DroneBuddy’ competition is;
      • R1500-00 credit that can be used against the monthly premium for your Drone Insurance.
    • The amount will automatically be credited to your Drone policy with DroneBuddy.
    • Should you cancel your DroneBuddy insurance cover prior to utilising the full credit, it will not be refunded to you and you will lose the balance of that which has not been used.
  1. OPEN, CLOSE, DRAW DATE AND NOTIFICATION
    • The competition commences on Tuesday, 1 June 2021.
    • The competition closes on Friday, 25 June 2021.
    • The winner will be randomly selected on all successful entries on Tuesday,

29 June 2021.

  • The winner will be notified via Facebook.
  1. GENERAL
    • BrokerBüddy reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the control of BrokerBüddy corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. BrokerBüddy will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.
    • BrokerBüddy’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for lost or misdirected entries.
    • Any false information provided will result in immediate disqualification.
    • BrokerBüddy reserves the right to postpone, suspend or cancel this competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reason which BrokerBüddy reasonably deems necessary, on condition that no prize winner has been drawn and that reasonable notice (as determined by BrokerBüddy) has been given. No liability shall lie against BrokerBüddy in favour of any participant arising from such postponement, suspension or cancellation.
    • The prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from his / her prize winning and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of that prize.
    • In participating in this competition, the Winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all activities relating to the competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed.
    • By entering this Competition, you authorise BrokerBüddy to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication and statistical purposes.
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
    • All entrants participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless BrokerBüddy, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the Competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any of BrokerBüddy.
